ZION PRESCHOOLS BLANKET COLLECTION:When we are cold we simply put on a sweatshirt or sweater to warm us up. And when we go to bed at night we snuggle down into our comfy bed and warm covers. We do this without even thinking if we have what we need to keep warm. Unfortunately not everyone has that luxury. For the next 2 weeks Zion Lutheran Preschool will be collecting gently used/New blankets. On October 9th Foodies Sweets and Eats food truck service will be in Jamestown in the Old Friendly’s parking lot located in Brooklyn Square, where they will provide a meal for the needy and homeless in the surrounding communities.The blankets we collect will be distributed to anyone who is in Need of something to help keep them warm.Please place your gently used/new blankets in the designated box at the top of the preschool stairs.
